The display covers an overview of the history of farming in our area. This is important as it connects residents to their heritage by explaining the origins of local land use, the impact of significant social struggles such as the 16th-century enclosures, poverty of rural labouring families, emigration as well as the impact of the agricultural and industrial revolutions upon our district.
